Articles - Grace in Real Life

A photo of the author Delilah Pugsley

My name is Delilah, and yes, I was named after a song but probably not the one you're thinking of. My father had an affinity for Tom Jones' music and was keenly unaware of the biblical story of the ill reputed woman with the same name, when he bestowed the name upon me. :)

I was born and raised in New York (not the city) and have lived in Missouri for the last 13 years. I have the goofiest, sweetest husband there ever could be and I am thankful for each day we have together.

I love photography, researching random subjects, watching documentaries, and going for walks with my husband.

Most of all, I love how God's grace doesn't just stay in the pages of the Bible, but it spills out into all of life. I think it is fascinating how theology is holistic, in that all of life matters to God, and all of life is spiritual. From the food we eat, to the jobs we work at, to the relationships we invest in, all of it is sacred. God's grace meets us at our lowest lows and our highest highs, it can meet us in the mundane and the spectacular, grace is meant for real life.

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."

1 Corinthians 10:31
